Per default everyone can access the hosted files in this folder (Public). If you restrict the load permission to specific users or roles, an accessing user will be prompted to enter credentials via basic authentication.

Your upload includes files which may have already been uploaded. You can choose to either replace the existing files or to keep them and only upload new files. Alternatively you can cancel the upload as a whole.

All your assets stored in the public www root-folder can be accessed under your app domain {{appName}}.app.baqend.com and can be accessed like this:
  • {{appName}}.app.baqend.com/ maps to /www/index.html
  • {{appName}}.app.baqend.com/about.html maps to /www/about.html
  • {{appName}}.app.baqend.com/images/logo.jpg maps to /www/images/logo.jpg

Access Control

The www root-folder is publicly readable by default and cannot be made private. As a consequence, no individual file ACLs can be set in the www root-folder.

In general file and root-folder ACLs are used to control access to your uploaded files. You can change these for root-folders as well as for individual files.

File Upload

To upload files you can either

  • drag & drop files and folders into one of the columns of the file explorer, or
  • use the upload button to choose the files to upload. The files will be uploaded to the currently selected folder.
If your upload includes files which have already been uploaded you can choose to either replace the existing files or to keep them and only upload new files.
